Aurora Health Grid is building the connective tissue for longitudinal care. We need a Principal Solutions Architect who can translate complex clinical and partner workflows into secure, scalable platform designs.

Responsibilities
- Own reference architectures spanning providers, payers, pharmacies, laboratories, and remote-monitoring partners.
- Guide FHIR R4 APIs, terminology services, event-driven workflows, consent, and identity.
- Partner with product, security, clinical, and engineering leaders.
- Lead architecture reviews, build-versus-buy analysis, proofs of concept, and production readiness.
- Establish reliability, observability, privacy, tenant-isolation, and recovery expectations.
- Communicate trade-offs to executives and external partners.

Requirements
- 10+ years in software or platform architecture, including 4+ in healthcare technology.
- Production FHIR and healthcare-interoperability experience.
- Deep AWS or Azure, container, API, and event-system experience.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA-aligned controls, threat modeling, and auditability.
- Evidence of moving architecture into reference implementations and production adoption.
- Strong facilitation, writing, and executive communication.

Preferred: clinical terminology, patient-event systems, ambient clinical AI, or enterprise advisory experience.
